Terms of Service

You must be 18 or over to have an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. You may make films for children, and a child may use Cinefables with you, under your account and your supervision; the account, and everything made or bought with it, stays yours.

You may not use Cinefables to generate content that is illegal, sexual content involving minors, hateful, or that infringes others’ intellectual property (including copyrighted characters). See our Content Policy.

We may block generations that break these rules. An idea we refuse before anything is made costs nothing. If the content filter refuses a scene while your film is being made, that scene’s credits come back: all of them when it still plays as its picture, all but the picture already made for it when it is left out — the Refund Policy sets out exactly what comes back.

We claim no ownership of the videos you make; the AI services we use have their own terms. You are responsible for how you use and publish them, including compliance with the terms of any platform you upload to.

When you upload a photo, a voice recording or a music file, or paste a picture’s address, you let us store and process it only to make your films. You confirm you have the right to use it — and, for anyone else’s face or voice, their permission.

The films, pictures, music and words we show as examples of what Cinefables makes — on our website, including the home page, the gallery and the sign-in pages, in our emails and on our social media channels — are owned by CodezyAI Private Limited or licensed to us. You are welcome to watch them and to share links to the pages they are on.

Without our written permission, you may not download, copy, re-upload, sell or license them; use them to train or fine-tune an AI model; remove, crop out or cover our watermark; or present them as your own or as made by you.

The ideas shown with our films are there to be used: “Make one like this” and “Use this idea” put one in your story box, and the film you make from it is yours to use, like every film you make (see Your content).

Generation consumes credits. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. Credits never expire, and they stay yours if you cancel a plan.

A new account gets the free credits shown at sign-up once its email address is confirmed — once per email inbox: addresses that reach the same inbox (such as a Gmail address with dots or a ‘+’) count as one. An address that has had them, on an account since deleted, does not get them again. A new account may also make its first film free, and its first library character or place free before that film; both are offers we may change or withdraw at any time, they follow the same once-per-inbox rule, and a film that fails or is stopped does not use the offer up. Films made before any payment carry a small Cinefables watermark and end on a short Cinefables screen; any payment — a plan, a pack or credits added — removes both from every film made after it.

Buying credits or a plan needs a confirmed email address.

If a payment is refunded to you or disputed with your bank, the credits it bought are taken back — even if that leaves your balance below zero. See the Refund Policy for details.

If a payment is reversed after its credits were used, such as by a chargeback, the account owes those credits; a new account on the same email address starts with what it owed.

Each offer shows its terms and end date, can be used once per person (once per email inbox), never with another offer or the regular bonuses, and may be ended early if misused — a paid order keeps it.

A plan renews every month until you cancel it. Cancelling stops the next renewal: the plan runs to the end of the month you paid for, and the credits you have stay yours. A plan runs for up to 12 monthly payments; after that it ends and you can start it again.

If a renewal cannot be charged, we retry for a few days; if it still fails, the plan stops adding monthly credits until you update your payment method.

You may share a film you made by a link, and ask us to list it in our gallery. You confirm you have the right to share it, and that anyone it shows or sounds like agreed. While it is shared or listed you let us show it there, credited as you chose. We may stop showing any film that breaks these terms or our Content Policy.

If you connect another app to your Cinefables account, it can do only what you allowed on the consent screen — such as making films for you, which uses your credits at the same price as films you make yourself, or reading your films, characters and balance. To disconnect an app, use Connected apps in Settings, or write to support. The app is run by its maker, whose own terms and privacy policy apply to what it does.

The service is provided “as is”. We rely on third-party AI providers and cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every generation meets your expectations.

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
